For Major Donors and Sustained Supporters

Major gifts make it possible for The Black Altar Project to move from momentary offerings to lasting infrastructure for community healing.

Significant contributions allow us to compensate Black healers with care and dignity, expand free public healing experiences, and steward cultural practices that have long sustained Black communities. This level of support strengthens our ability to plan thoughtfully, respond to community needs, and grow without compromising our values.

Major donors help underwrite:

  1. Ongoing community healing gatherings and Rest Labs
  2. Fair and consistent compensation for Black healers and cultural practitioners
  3. Materials, accessibility, and space costs for public offerings
  4. Organizational capacity that allows us to sustain and deepen our work

We invite donors who understand healing justice as essential to social change and who value cultural heritage as living knowledge to be protected, resourced, and passed forward.
